North Haven Auto Body is an independently owned business and a mainstay in the North Haven business community. We detach ourselves from the old image of our industry by keeping up to date with the latest equipment and services. We strive to stay ahead of our competition.

Our entire staff continuously trains to keep up to speed with the ever-changing vehicle technology. Everyone that works on your automobile is a certified professional. But training is only part of the equation.

As of August 2009 we will be an Audi-certified collision center.
We are a participating member of the Partnership in Excellence Program.
We are an I-Car Gold Class Facility and meet the S.C.R.S standards for a Class 'A' Facility.
We are one of the founding members of The Connecticut Society of Collision Repair Specialists.

In Case of Accident

Your well-being and that of your family is the most important thing to look at after an accident. After this important step is done, the following things should be done if possible.

Try to get as much information as possible at the scene of the accident. If involved with another party, see if you can get their insurance information from them. This will save you the time of waiting for the accident report.

Report the accident as soon as possible to the appropriate insurance company whether it be your own or the motorist at fault. If there is a question of liability, report it to your own carrier.

Have the car towed directly to our facility if possible. If not, please call us, we will be happy to arrange pickup of the vehicle.

If a rental car is required, contact us. We will be happy to arrange one for you, the firms we work with will direct bill the appropriate insurance company.

Please make sure if there are any alarm or disabling devices on your car, you leave the corresponding 'transmitters to operate these items, or directions on how to use the devices left with us

Remove the most commonly overlooked items in your car, such as overhead door operators, parking passes, keys for home or work, wallets, eyeglasses and other personal items. Please don't forget these items. It will save you the inconvenience of having to make a second trip.

North Haven Auto Body is Green!

We converted over to Waterborne refinishing in November 2008. Over 70 percent of the vehicles currently manufactured utilize Waterborne base coat systems. Color matches and proper metallic size are far easier to obtain with this technology. It has also dropped our refinishing emissions by over 50 percent. It is everyone’s responsibility to work for a cleaner environment. This helps us do our part!

We also are in the process of installing solar panels on the facility to help our electrical use. Although the initial investment is heavy, the dividends come over time. It also is another way to help reduce the usage of fossil fuels in the production of energy. With skyrocketing costs of these fuels, it is not only economically feasible, but is environmentally friendly!

North Haven Auto Body has met the training requirements to be an I-Car Gold Class facility. We are now starting to work towards being an I-Car Platinum facility.

North Haven Auto Body will be Connecticut’s first independently owned Audi Authorized repair facility (excluding A-8’s).
